Let's look at the Road Ahead instead of behind ....

Whether your son or daughter has just left home, started doing things that you disapprove of and have reasonable belief that God also disapproves of ... or if "the event" happened a long, long time ago ... the road ahead is the same for each of us.  We all start from wherever we find ourselves and make a conscious decision to turn to the Lord with all of our heartaches about our children and lay the burdens down at His feet because we just cannot carry them any longer.

It is with that conscious decision, "we need something better in our lives concerning our children" that we can really start the process of healing ourselves enough to be able to pray helpful prayers for our children.  Amazingly, when we start praying helpful prayers for our children, our thought patterns change and our actions toward our children and others also change.  We can choose to grow through the pain or we can choose to die in the pain.  The choice is up to us!

A new topic will be posted approximately once a week.  The previous topics will be left available for others who find the site as time goes on.  It is strongly suggested that the topics be studied in the order presented since they build on the previous topic.  The topic has a general presentation, a section dealing with practical things to do, and Bible stories to bring hope to our hearts concerning our children and how we can grow out of the experience.
